I’ve used AI to build my personal website (including this page!), create agents that help run my business, and gather information from across the internet. I learned by trying things, asking questions, and figuring out what actually works.
Before teaching AI online, I spent three years as a professor at USC. Today, more than 100,000 people follow me across social media for practical AI lessons.

Is this for beginners?
Yes. This is for people who are curious about AI, have tried it a little, or feel unsure where to start. We’ll begin with setup and build on it together. You don’t need a technical background.
Is the course live or asynchronous?
The lessons are asynchronous. New material unlocks every day at 9 a.m. ET, and you can work through it on your own schedule. The only scheduled live session is Friday’s optional Q&A, November 13, from 12-1 p.m. ET. A replay is included.
Should I use Claude or ChatGPT?
We’ll cover both, so either one works. If you don’t know where to start, try ChatGPT.
Do I need a paid AI account?
Yes. You’ll need ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro, typically US$20 per month before applicable taxes. You only need one. That subscription is purchased separately and isn’t included in the $97 course price. We’ll use the regular Claude and ChatGPT apps, including Work - not Claude Code or Codex. Features and usage limits differ between tools.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. I’m non-technical and don’t know how to code either. We’ll use plain-language instructions and walk through the steps together.
Can I do this on my phone?
You can watch the lessons on your phone, but a laptop or desktop is recommended for following along, setting things up, and building your skill and workflow.
How much time should I set aside?
We recommend dedicating 30 minutes to an hour each day, but you can spend as little or as much time as you’d like. Friday’s Q&A will be 1 hour long.
What if I can’t make Friday’s Q&A?
You can submit your questions in advance and watch the recording afterward. The replay is included with your course materials.
What if I fall behind?
That’s okay. Lessons unlock daily, but you can complete them at your own pace and revisit the materials through February 15, 2027 - three months after the course ends.
When will I receive access?
You’ll receive instructions on Sunday, November 8. The first lesson unlocks Monday, November 9, with new material released daily at 9 a.m. ET.
How does the early-bird call work?
Early-bird tickets are sold out. Those tickets included a free private 20-minute call with me before the course starts. If you already purchased an early-bird ticket, your bonus call is still included. Standard tickets are $97 and include the full course, live Friday group Q&A, replay, and support throughout the week, without the private call.
What support is included?
The live Friday Q&A, advance question submission, and asynchronous answers to questions throughout the week. After the week is over, we may open a community where you can ask more questions, but that’s not guaranteed yet.
What is the refund policy?
